This weekend I lost one of the best men I knew, my cousin, Nathan. He was gentle, kind, sweet, easy-going, and had the best smile and funniest laugh ever. He was everything a real man should be and if I ever have a son one day, I hope that he will be just like him. Nathan never seemed to ask for more than he had, he always seemed content and happy with what life gave him. He was never selfish for more. That is something I will always remember about him...how unselfish he was. I hope to be more like him everyday. I don't understand why God took him, but I do know he is in a place that is beautiful and perfect. That he will always be happy and that is what is giving me peace right now...knowing he is LIVING in heaven. This photo represents a glimpse of heaven to me on a day that Travis and I were driving to Alpine, Arizona. When I saw this photo today, I knew that Nathan was there in heaven seeing even more beauty than we can ever imagine.

Snapshot Saturday!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Here is another photo of Arizona for today's snapshot. This is of the Superstition Mountains, which is about a 30 - 45 minute drive from house. These are probably my favorite mountains in the phoenix valley area and are just spectacular during an Arizona sunset!

Snapshot Saturday
Every Saturday I'm going to try and post some of my photography of Arizona because I want people to see the beauty of this state. Plus, I need to really take a moment to appreciate all that Arizona has to offer more often. I think it will help me to be more content with where I am at in life, instead of always wishing and looking for something else. I hope you will find Arizona really does have some amazing beauty as well.

A Country Wedding
I love photography and recently had the pleasure and wonderful opportunity to photograph a country wedding for my best friend's beautiful sister. I was so appreciative of this experience as it was my first time photographing a wedding, and the night before I was so nervous I hardly slept a wink. Thank-you to the wonderful wedding party and their family. Here are some photos to share the experience. I hope I am able to photograph more weddings in the future!
